    Magformers chosen as an education tool for the Mathematics Experience Event

    Magformers, the 3D education tool of Gymboree Korea, Gymworld Inc. (CEO: Kee Young Park), has been adopted as a teaching aid for the 5th Mathematics Experience Event hosted by Sejong Science High School, which is held from July 15th to 17th.
     
    The event, officially sponsored by the company, provides students of the school with opportunities to contribute their talents to the society. They take part in the planning and operation of the event themselves and help visitors to experience it.
     
    Magformers can be transformed from 2D structure to 3D one with its magnetic power, which enables users to enhance their imagination and creativity. The 3D magnetic education tool helps students to develop their brain by reinforcing their space perception and logical, mathematical and scientific thinking.
     
    It was awarded a grand prize in education tools sector for creativity of 2012 Korea best brands. It also won the 2012 Oppenheim Toy portfolio gold seal award. As a result, the uniqueness and educational effects of Magformers achieved recognition in the toy market home and abroad.
     
    Parents and students who visited Magformers booth during the event showed positive responses because students can build and reinforce their mathematical conception and creativity while playing with Magformers.
     
    A Gymboree official says Magformers has gained recognition for its learning effects since its adoption as an education tool for the event of the high school. The company promised an upgraded version every year.
     
    Gymboree Korea, Gymworld Inc. is the leader of world’s play education programs for infants and toddlers, which runs 53 centers nationwide. The Gymboree program was started in the U.S.A. in 1976 and introduced to Korea in 1992.

    The company which marked its 20th anniversary last year achieves recognition domestically and internationally by launching Magformers in 2008.
