Magformers Donates Child Educational tools in Syria with Good Neighbors![]() Korean Representative Play • Music • Art Program Gymboree Korea, Gymworld, Inc. (CEO Keeyoung Park) announced that it had sponsored Syrian children in refugee camps with Gymboree Magformers child educational tools with Good Neighbors in conjunction with its 'Gymboree Magformers Regular Sponsorship Campaign', that donates goods to low-income children. This sponsorship was decided after hearing about the circumstances of one million children living in the refugee camps as result of the two year civil war who cannot receive proper education and health care. For this campaign, Gymboree Magformers Child Educational tools for the purpose of bringing emotional stability to children in refugee camps who experience feelings of instability, will construct a child-friendly playground for them to use. Good Neighbors is the first NGO in Korea to be granted the highest comprehensive consultative status by the United Nations Economic and Social Council (UN ECOSOC). North Korea and 30 international bureaus and 3 fundraising bureaus are actively carrying out professional social services and relief and development projects as an international relief and development NGO. On the other hand, Gymboree Korea, Gymworld, Inc. along with Good Neighbors is helping children in North Korea by donating 200 million KRW worth of Gymboree tools and products. Through Good Neighbors, Gymboree centers in Korea have been matched with children from international developing countries as sponsors on a 1 to 1 basis. As part of the 'Gymboree Magformers Regular Sponsorship Campaign', Gymboree Magformers Child Educational tools have been donated to the Mongolia We Start Center in August and Kyung Hee Global Service Corps (GSC) in September for disadvantaged local residents and child support programs. |
