    Magformers Successfully Participates in the 2014 International Congress of Mathematicians 
     
    Magformers announced that it has successfully taken part in the 2014 International Congress of Mathematicians, which was held at COEX in Seoul for 8 days from August 13th through the 20th.


    At this year’s Seoul ICM 2014, promising young adult Koreans mingled with the world’s best mathematicians in a variety of mathematical experiences and events.


    Magformers has reached over 600,000 sets in domestic accumulated sales volume and as a world class 3D magnetic education tool, continues to increase the understanding of model figures. Making a 2D shape into a 3D figure underscores basic mathematical concepts as well.


    In 2012 and 2013, Magformers earned the world's most prestigious consumer assessment agency “Oppenheim Toy Portfolio’s” “Platinum” and “Gold Seal,” awards, respectively, and in 2014, it earned the “Academic Choice Brain Toy Award,” thereby showing that Gymboree products are renowned not just domestically, but worldwide, for their educational effectiveness and creativity.


    Magformers, through this year’s Seoul ICM 2014, was able to provide users with a chance to experience Magformers for themselves, and Magformers’ educational effectiveness received acknowledgement as well.


    Magformers said, “We are happy that through this year’s Seoul ICM 2014, which is called the Olympics of the mathematical world, numerous visitors’ interest and participation helped make the event a great success. In the future we hope to develop many different products to continue being the Magformers that is internationally recognized for its educational effectiveness.”
