Magformers participated at 2017 China Toy Expo from October 18 to 20 at Shanghai New International Expo Centre.

As the third-time consecutive participant, this year’s objective was to demonstrate what sets authentic Magformers apart from copies and counterfeits – through our commitment in product research and development, the educational values of Magformers backed by rich educational contents, and our genuine interest and deep understanding of the local toy market.

Meetings with 35 companies were prearranged to reaffirm our position as the top magnetic construction toy in the Chinese market. There was also an opportunity for local salespeople to receive hands-on training on new products and features prior to the start of the expo in order for them to actively engage in sales activities to merchants and customers during and after the fair.

An entire wall was decorated with sculptures inspired by new products, which boasted unique features of Magformers and made many passers-by irresistible to walk into the booth and ask questions about various products. The giant robot and Oriental Pearl Tower, both of which exceeded 4 meters in height, were loved not only by the visitors, but also the exhibitors even before the opening day.

Despite the ongoing political tensions between China and Korea, which continue to discourage many Korean exhibitors from high expectations in the coming months, it was yet another successful exhibition for Magformers at China Toy Expo this year. We witnessed more opportunities to expand our business and strengthen our brand, as the average standard of living is rising in China and more people are willing to open their wallets for high-quality, authentic products particularly for their children. It is chance for us to educate consumers that Magformers is the one and only magnetic construction toy that is often imitated but never duplicated in terms of product quality and educational values.
